Our Team Members

Bob joins the NCDS team after serving 22 years as the chief operating officer of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce in Mobile, Alabama. For more than two decades Bob served in multiple roles including interim roles in economic development, small business development, governmental affairs, and as interim president and CEO.

During his time at the Mobile Chamber, Bob served as staff lead on five campaigns providing the organization with more than $30 million to fund the organization’s work in economic development.

Professionally, Bob earned a Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation, which is the only national certification for Chamber professionals, from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2008.

Bob is an active member of the Mobile community. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Mobile and serves as the club’s permanent secretary. He is a graduate of Leadership Alabama and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama. Bob is married, with two adult children and one grandchild.
